This is superb. The post "Three Eggs" is also nice, but it seems like it wasn't quite "worked out" as a composition. This, however, is a delightful, self-contained image with real grace and a lovely sense of light. How clever to put the egg in the bowl!

This photo has immediate impact. The egg looks like it is spinning, the angle of the egg adds dynamic interest, the striped of color on the egg look like those on photos of some planets. Very nice.
